Eat my flesh and drink my blood

And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, "Take, eat; this is My body." Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom." (Matt 26:26-29 NKJV).

Being born of GOD

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God (John 1:12-13 NKJV).

Do not be deceived

Do not be deceived: "Evil company corrupts good habits." Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame (1 Cor 15:33-34 NKJV).

Accurate prayer

It is interesting how we can so easily pray for provision or change of circumstances in times of need without necessarily acting in accordance with the Word of GOD. Let’s look at the following verses: Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you (Matt 6:31-33 NKJV).

I in YOU and YOU in me

Growing up, I had a very close relationship with my late grandfather. A lot of who I am today and the way in which I do things can be attributed to his teachings and the example he set for me and all my siblings and relatives.

Let this mind be in you

We all need to be like-minded, but not according to our fleshly standards and thoughts arising from a low self-esteem. That which the world and religion has proclaimed over us without us having an identity in Christ has caused us to be slaves of our fallen Adam mind-set. What we were taught to believe – that GOD does not want us to understand the fullness of HIS being – is a lie of the devil himself.

The principle of GOD’s sent one

When it comes to GOD’s plan we have to understand that GOD has always appointed a specific leader to lead and instruct HIS people. Because many of us grew up in a western culture, we tend to struggle with this biblical principle, especially when it comes to applying it to our daily lives. Throughout history, GOD has always been very clear and has always emphasised the importance of a specific man tasked with carrying and executing HIS plan. This includes individuals such as Noah, Moses, Joshua and David.

Sons of GOD

For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren (Rom 8:29 NKJV).
