Imagine a life lived purposefully in its appointed time to the Glory of GOD and one that manifests HIS plan and desire. Immediately we might think of Jesus Christ who, in our opinion, was the only one capable of living like this. Imagine now that this life is lived by you through the Spirit, on the earth.
From the above title, there might be some readers, especially the men, who will immediately be put off from reading this article. Please let me clarify and explain.
“But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them“ (2 Tim 3:14 NKJV). There are many different types of counsellors who can advise and instruct us in certain areas of life. Having said this, I am amazed at how many people shy away from counsel, as Scripture is clear on the importance of counsel. “The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who heeds counsel is wise” (Prov 12:15).
“Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?' He said to them, 'An enemy has done this.' The servants said to him, 'Do you want us then to go and gather them up?' But he said, 'No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, ‘First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn’” ” (Matt 13:24-30 NKJV).
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith” (Rom 12:1-3 KJV)
“From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matt 4:17 KJV).
“And so it is written, ‘The first man Adam became a living being’ (Jesus). The last Adam became a life-giving spirit (Jesus Christ). However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual. The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man” (1 Cor 15:45-49 NKJV).
